A Pilgrim on his way to Makkah.

“The soul should take care of the body, just as a pilgrim on his way to Makkah takes care of his camel; but if the pilgrim spends his whole time feeding and adorning his camel, the caravan will leave him behind, and he will perish in the desert”

Al-Ghazzali

“Ghazzali has sometimes been referred to by historians as the single most influential Muslim after the Islamic prophet Muhammad. Others have cited his movement from science to faith as a detriment to Islamic scientific progress.” Ghazali, Frank Griffel, Medieval Islamic Civilization.

Unfortunately, that how it is at times. Nobody ever wants to take the time to read and listen, everyone only wants to talk. Communication is key for building peace. No wonder we are in the mess we are in.

I would agree with you, but I write a Blog, and sometimes this means writing more than thinking, at other times, thinking more than writing.

        Best wishes,
